Two Renowned Awards for Rücker’s Dairy

Aurich. We are reaping the rewards of our new sales strategy: Rücker’s Dairy has received two renowned awards.

Gourmet Award
The popular gourmet magazine “Der Feinschmecker” has nominated Rücker’s Dairy as one of the best cheese producers in Germany. We were singled out for our specialities and our cheese shop in Aurich. It is also listed in the gourmet magazine’s new “Cheese Guide”. In this guide, our direct sales shop is listed next to traditional delicatessens such as “Dallmayr” in Munich and original farm shops. “We are proud of this award and it shows that our quality standard and improved approach are appreciated by consumers,” says Klaus Rücker. As our sales statistics show, the cheese shop is not only appreciated by customers from the region but also by holidaymakers. North Sea visitors specifically make a detour via Aurich for direct sales. We even have many regular customers amongst holidaymakers because they regularly travel to East Frisia. In particular, they really like our freshly made butter and cream as well as the creamy white cheese “Cremas”. As our customers will tell you, the shop wins them over due to its direct proximity to the factory. They know where the products come from. And if the cows are still at pasture in summer, it gives consumers additional confidence. “That is why our thanks go not only to our loyal customers, but especially to our dairy producers. Their fresh milk every day ensures exceptional quality,” says Klaus Rücker.

Product of the Year
It’s not only consumers who are excited about the new style of Rücker’s Dairy, but our efforts are also recognised by the retail industry. That is why the creamy white cheese “Cremas” was nominated as the third-best product of the year by food retailers! Across the board, the concept, quality and sales for this unique creamy white cheese work in perfect unison. Cremas had to give precedence to two products that were pushed onto the market with high advertising budgets. “Cremas is doing well. That confirms our work,” says Klaus Rücker. Of course, that is no reason to relax – our product developers are working on other unique cheeses and exciting marketing campaigns. In order to maintain our gourmet standards in the future, we will develop the product of the year using your high-quality milk.
